About
Dr. Fields is a board-eligible psychiatrist with additional training in Sports Psychiatry seeing patients aged 13 years and older. In addition to this, he is working with MHMR to serve patients at Tarrant County Jail and John Peter Smith Hospital. Prior to this, he completed his undergraduate education at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX and received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Dr. Fields’ particular interest lies in the intersection of mental health and performance; an area he has extensively explored, having completed additional training in sports psychiatry with the International Society for Sports Psychiatry. His comprehensive understanding of psychiatric disorders and their impact on individuals, coupled with his specialized knowledge in sports psychiatry, makes Dr. Fields uniquely qualified to treat mental illness in high-achievers, and assist with navigating the pressures of high-stress, high-demand environments. This is accomplished through the appointments, offered both in-person and virtually.
Outside the office, Dr. Fields enjoys spending time with wife and 2 daughters. He is also actively working on his ability to perform; Dr. Fields plays drumset in the band, Euthymics, and can be seen performing around the Fort Worth area.
